JSFlow: past, present and future

Time:   12:00pm
Location:   Meeting room 302 (Mountain View), level 3

Almost eight years ago we started working on JSFlow - an information flow aware interpreter for JavaScript written in JavaScript. Season 1 of this effort has come to an end with both theoretical and practical results on dynamic information flow tracking. But fear not! Season 2 is in the planning. While season 1 had a focus on theory, season 2 will be more targeted towards practical evaluation and deployment of dynamic information flow security.

This talk gives an overview of our work with JSFlow and outlines three future story arcs: core JSFlow, web development using JSFlow and web experiments using JSFlow.
