Distinguished paper awards at S&P ’15

IMDEA Software Institute faculty member Pierre-Yves Strub, and coauthors Benjamin Beurdouche (INRIA), Karthikeyan Bhargavan (INRIA), Antoine Delignat-Lavaud (INRIA), Cedric Fournet (IMDEA Software Institute), Markulf Kohlweiss (IMDEA Software Institute), Alfredo Pironti (INRIA), and Jean Karim Zinzindohoue (INRIA), received the distinguished paper award at the 2015 IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy (S&P ’15) for their research paper entitled “A Messy State of the Union: Taming the Composite State Machines of TLS”.

IMDEA Software Institute PhD student Antonio Nappa, along with researchers from the International Computer Science Institute in Berkeley CA and other researchers from Google Inc. received the distinguished practical paper award at the S&P ’15 for their practical contribution entitled “Ad Injection at Scale: Assessing Deceptive Advertisement Modifications”.
